Mario Kunasek Appointed New Minister of Defence

Today, Mario Kunasek was sworn in as new Minister of Defence. He was inaugurated by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, and is now the head of the Austrian Armed Forces.
Hand-over
Kunasek's predecessor, Hans Peter Doskozil, handed over the ministry with a formal act. Austria's military leaders officially welcomed the new minister.
