Klaudia Tanner Sworn in as New Minister of Defence

Klaudia Tanner was sworn in as new Minister of Defence. Thus, she became the first female head of the Austrian Armed Forces. Tanner was inaugurated by Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen.
Hand-over in Vienna
Her predecessor, Thomas Starlinger, handed over the ministry with a formal act. Austria's military leaders used the event to officially welcome the new minister.
