PART II: LESSONS LEARNED FROM THE VISEGRAD COUNTRIES
IntroductionOne would be tempted to believe that once a country has joined NATO, or has come reasonably close to joining, problems in the security sector must have been solved, or have come close to their being solved. This view, however, does not even hold for the established NATO member countries, nor for other old European democracies, and one would be illadvised to believe that things should be different in Central Europe.
Geneva Centre for Security Policy Faculty member Pal Dunay has
kindly offered to give an overview of Expert Formation Needs and
Achievements in the Visegrad countries.
