Zam Zam Nagujja Kasujja is a lawyer by profession, trained in Makerere University Kampala and Manchester University (UK). She used to work as the Communications Officer for the Conflict Early Warning and Early Response Mechanism (CEWARN) of the Horn of Africa Member States. Since 2007, she works with the United Nations Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK) in the International Judicial Support Division. In relation to work on conflict in the Great Lakes Region, she has served on the Ugandan Regional committee for Peace that was dealing with the Uganda-Sudan relations. Zam Zam has previously served as a State Attorney in the Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Affairs in Uganda, 145 was Head of the Uganda Chapter of the women Lawyers Legal Aid Programme (FIDA) and as Director for Legal Affairs of the National Resistance Movement government. She is also a researcher and a trainer with published works on Human Rights.
