Victor S. Rykin is the author of more than 100 scientific works about the interior and exterior policy of the Federal Republics of Germany and Austria, essentially about political parties of these countries.
At the Europe Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Moskow) he directs the Sector of German Interior and Exterior policy problems.
He participated at the Institute’s reports preparation and releasing within the "Communities and Federation” project dedicated to the German experience of the local self-administration. He presently works on studies of the European federalism experiences.
