Abstract:
The research project “The Cube of Military Logistics” was launched with the aim of providing a comprehensive view of military logistics, drawing on Hans-Christian Pfohl’s “Cube of Logistics.” This results in the “Cube of Military Logistics” by examining its various facets and identifying the interdependencies among them.
The core of the publication is the scientific examination of the six sides of the Cube of Military Logistics: theories, levels, tasks and methods, functions, design principles, and special features of logistical support.
These are framed by a general overview of military logistics at the beginning and by reflections on military logistics in relation to science, teaching, art, and reality at the end of the publication.
