Vorwort
The nexus between climate and security is becoming ever more important. It is marked by the spread of misleading climate-related information, which in itself is a threat, because it undermines the trust in science and politics, and thus can become a threat to democracy and peace. Disinformation can cause particular damage in armed conflicts, as the example of a Russian disinformation campaign regarding the water supply in Ukraine demonstrates.
