Vorwort
Together with the expansion of Iran’s satellite and space programme, various strategic documents were drawn up and adopted to guide and coordinate the sector. The most recent key document is the Comprehensive National Aerospace Document, which was adopted in 2013 by the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution. Like earlier guidelines, it primarily contains general definitions. Detailed parameters for individual sub-areas and concrete development strategies are, however, largely absent. As a result, various sectors of the Iranian space industry are not fully coordinated.
